First Quarter Goal Review

Hey ladies!!! Welcome to the month of April!! Its April Fools day but go easy on the pranking!!! May you enjoy peace and bliss this month.
At the beginning of the year when I set my hair goals, i decided to do a goal review at the end of each quarter to monitor my progress and adjust if necessary. So since the first quarter of the year is over, it’s time for my first goal review. Here we go.
Length: To be APL by June 2015(which will mark one year since I began my hhj) and almost BSL by the end of the year (December 2015) [it is not June yet, but for the sake of this post I decided to do an unofficial length check. Here it is]
Almost APL!!!!

Health: To increase the thickness of my hair and have healthy ends. [My hair is much thicker and my ends are doing great]
And here is a review of my plan:
• Continue with my regimen (weekly washdays, moisturise and seal daily, massage scalp with castor oil daily) [ I’ve been consistent with my regimen]
• Stretch for at least 16 weeks and texlax no more than three times yearly. Since I began my hhj, I’ve only been able to stretch for 14 weeks max. I’m aiming for 16 weeks and hopefully, more.[ My last stretch was 16 weeks and I’m hoping to make my present stretch 18 weeks. Hopefully]
• GHE at least  5 days a week and do inversion 7 days a month [ I stopped GHE because it made my hair feel weighed down. I’m still doing the inversion each month]
• Trimming only when necessary. I’m kind of a scissor happy person so I need to put myself in check. No more than 3 trims this year. [ I’ve only trimmed once, on my last touchup. I dust a bit to keep split ends at bay.]
• Low manipulation and Protective styling [Even though I’m wearing my hair out more, I’m still into PSing and low manipulation]
• Researching on methods to boost hair growth[a method I found is using onion for hair growth, which I’ve incorporated into my regimen. I’m still looking for more methods]
• Drink at least 3L of water daily [I’ve been faithful with this, thanks to my HydroCoach app]
• Take multivitamins[I’ve started taking Perfectil and I usually take B complex also. Hoping to get some biotin]
• Exercise and eat healthy [I recently started exercising as a means of reducing stress. Working on my diet though]
So thats it. I'm overall happy with my progress. Still advancing!!
Cheers, Fatee
